Spelling: Unit 5 Word Lists Ideas to help you learn your words
Play the Spiderman Spelling game 3 times and record your scores! This counts for one night's practice!!
Reading: At least 20 minutes of reading each night.
Complete a reading response in your homework book. If you are reading your historical fiction book, don't forget to write you response in your booklet.
Maths: This week we will be reviewing mental strategies for subtracting large numbers before moving on to practise formal written strategies with trading. Watch the link on the left to revise the written strategy. You might like to show Mum or Dad as well!!

We have signed you up on a site called 'Improve' which offers practice NAPLAN style questions for you to have a go at. We have done this so that you will have some idea of how the questions are set out and worded. The more you see of these the less daunting it will be. Don't worry!! Think of this as a puzzle and do your best - as always!!
1. Go to www.improve.edu.au.
2. Select the 'Login' button at the top right of the screen, then select the 'Student' option.
3. Select the 'Join a class' button.
4. Enter your details and Class code.
5. You will be provided with a password to log into the test on Monday.
6. Select the 'Login' button to access your test with the Test PIN and your password
